Hampton-Pinckney Historic District

Hampton-Pinckney Historic District has its roots in the early 1800's when Vardry McBee bought about 11,000 acres of land to establish a small frontier village in Greenville. Hampton-Pinckney was the first "trolley-car" neighborhood in Greenville.

Residents in this delightful up-and-coming area enjoy easy access to North Main and all the amenities offered by Downtown Greenville. This is a tightly knit community. Investors and developers are renovating many of the older homes to their former glory. There is an overall ethos to make this the best neighborhood it can be. There is even a Book Club and Flamingo Friday Party!

The neighborhood is adjacent to Heritage Green, Greenville County Main Library, Greenville County Art Museum, and The Greenville Little Theater.

Home sizes and prices vary. There are homes in the low $100's to grander residences priced up to $1million.
